Meet Our Executive Board
Hi! My name is Kalli Koppin and I am the President of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) at Wright State University. I am currently a sophomore majoring in Computer Science. I joined EWB in the Fall of 2023 and I did it to get more hands-on engineering experience and be a part of the outreach and networking opportunities that this organization has to offer. I am also involved in other organizations on campus such as the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII), the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and Res Life & Housing as the Social Media handler and a Resident Assistant! I am excited to learn more about leadership, get more engineering experience, and network with professionals!
Hello! My name is Padma Deepa Doppalapudi. I am currently a junior at Wright State University majoring in Electrical Engineering with a dual minor in Mathematics and Assured and Trusted Digital Microelectronics. This is my first semester with Engineers Without Borders as the Vice President. I look forward to collaborating with various engineers to support communities in finding durable and viable engineering solutions for problems.
My name is Taylor Jacobs. I am the International Project lead at Wright State. After a career in cosmetology for the last eight years, I began pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I am passionate about people and creating positive change. I spent 2015-2016 volunteering in eleven countries in eleven months on the World Race. I have also grown up being a part of service project trips locally, nationally, and internationally
Hello all, my name is Lukas Bishop. I am currently a Junior at Wright State University (WSU) and pursuing a Bachelor’s in Information Technology and Cybersecurity. Hey! My name is Hana Habib. I am the Treasurer of Engineers Without Borders here at Wright State University. I am a freshman majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I have been involved with EWB since my first semester at Wright State and I hope to get involved further with EWB in the years to come.
Hello! My name is Vera Peters, and I am the fundraising chair for EWB. I am excited to continue my position and learn more about how to help EWB raise funds for our various projects, locally and internationally. I am pursuing a biomedical engineering degree (pre-med) along with a minor in forensic studies. You may also see me around campus in tutoring services or hosting Supplemental Instruction (SI) Sessions for chemistry courses! I love being involved on campus and helping other students be successful is such a rewarding experience.
Being a member of EWB has been a transformative experience for me. Collaborating with like-minded individuals to develop sustainable engineering solutions for communities in need has been incredibly rewarding. I am truly excited about the future of our club, and I cannot wait to see what challenges and opportunities lie ahead.
